Hope Quest Camp 2023

For Student Campers Ages 5-12 Who Have Experienced Loss

July 27, 28, 29 – 10am to 2pm

Avita Home Health & Hospice has been offering a grief recovery camp for children/teens since 2007 at no cost to the campers. This is thanks to a generous grant from the Hessenauer Trust. The camp is designed to help children/teens learn to manage their grief. This is achieved through learning coping skills and connecting with others who have also experienced a death of a loved one.

The student campers have the opportunity to engage in fun active learning experiences such as crafts and music and have fun with their peers and caring adults.

Camp Staff

The camp staff members include:

All staff members have completed criminal background checks, drug/alcohol screening, and fingerprinting to ensure the safety of your children. A nurse or EMT will be on the grounds for all camp activities.
