For Student Campers Ages 5-16
July 25, 26, 27 – 10am to 2pm
Avita Home Health & Hospice has been offering a grief recovery camp for children/teens since 2007 at no cost to the campers. This is thanks to a generous donation that has been received over the years. The camp is designed to help children/teens learn to manage their grief. This is achieved through learning coping skills and connecting with others who have also experienced a death of a loved one.
The student campers have the opportunity to engage in fun active learning experiences such as crafts and music and have fun with their peers and caring adults.
The camp staff members include:
- Social Workers
- Home Health Aides
- Administrative Staff Members
All staff members have completed criminal background checks, drug/alcohol screening, and fingerprinting to ensure the safety of your children. A nurse or EMT will be on the grounds for all camp activities.
For more information or to sign up for Hope Quest Camp, download our flyer and return the application by July 23, 2019.
