Hope Quest Camp 2022

For Student Campers Ages 5-13 Who Have Experienced Loss

July 28, 29, 30 – 10am to 2pm

All appropriate COVID-19 guidelines/precautions will be in place and any changes in activities due to COVID-19 will be communicated to camp families.

Campers are advised to bring a mask – we will have some onsite if needed.

Avita Home Health & Hospice has been offering a grief recovery camp for children/teens since 2007 at no cost to the campers. This is thanks to a generous grant from the Hessenauer Trust. The camp is designed to help children/teens learn to manage their grief. This is achieved through learning coping skills and connecting with others who have also experienced a death of a loved one.

The student campers have the opportunity to engage in fun active learning experiences such as crafts and music and have fun with their peers and caring adults.
